The FX Week e-FX Awards 2009 recognised industry excellence in electronic foreign exchange from banks and vendors. TwoFour was shortlisted for the category ‘e-FX initiative of the year (vendor)’ for the investment made in its system to meet current challenges facing the FX industry, including market volatility and high volumes of trades. This includes benchmark testing of the TwoFour System to demonstrate its ability to achieve throughput rates of 3,900 transactions per second for a sustained period of 30 minutes. The short-listing also recognised TwoFour’s work with Fortis Bank’s Global Brokerage, Clearing & Custody group to automate its FX risk management, clearing, settlement and reconciliation processes.
