Resurs Bank guides young people in managing their finances
Are you about to move out, take your first loan, pay bills for the first time, or learn how to set savings goals for different stages in life? Maybe you’re moving in with a partner or starting a family? There are many different situations where it can be difficult to keep track of your finances. That’s why Resurs developed the “My Economy” feature, which Twofour has helped develop and optimize for mobile. The feature is designed to help, support, and educate the younger generation about personal finance in a clear and accessible way.
My Economy is an educational “learning platform” with the goal of making it easier for young people to gain a comprehensive overview of their finances. The feature provides budgeting exercises and also highlights sustainable consumption. You’ll also find educational and fun quizzes to enjoy.
The feature is developed as an NPM package and is built in React, which in turn has its own module within Resurs’ CMS in WordPress. It is created with a mobile-first approach and will primarily be used on mobile devices.
In the long term, the idea is that selected courses from “My Economy” will also be available on other parts of the website.
